Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known for playing Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. An California native, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. Then, she made the decision to follow a career of acting. Her debut on screen was an episode in 2010 of CBS's 'NCIS'. The biographical crime film J Edgar was her big screen debut a year later. She became one of the best young actors to be seen over the next few years. The year she was born, she won nominated in the Young Artist Award, Best Performance of a Young Actress in a Television Series due to her performance in the show "NCIS". The year 2013 saw Calvano selected again to receive the Young Artist Award. This time, for her appearance on Disney XD's 'Kickin The 'It'. Calvano was featured in a variety series of the show "Mom" in its Fourth Season. She was a main role in the initial three seasons of the series. Calvano's role as a rising star on Mom earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is awarded to female actresses.
